An outdoor news compilation is a great idea and much welcomed! That Big Ridge fire in the Warwoman WMA continues to grow and the Bartram Trail is closed from Warwoman Dell to Hale Ridge Rd. I'm cancelling that thru hike for now and will do an alternate this week.
From what I've seen, the Table Rock fire in SC is huge and has closed that state park. Also, a fire in the Pisgah NF in NC has closed all trails in the Shining Rock Wilderness.
